Roof rail seals...

Does the drip rail trim need to be removed to pull them? I haven't taken a look at them lately seeing that the car has snow on it right now, but I was thinking about replacing them.

I swapped in a better seal on the drivers side of the boys car when I was doing it and I didn't have to pull them.
