Painting interior

Ive painted a few pieces for my in interiors, all i did is wash the parts with a good dish soap dry and paint with a good interior paint. Turned out realy good.

Cheers, so you didn't use a scouring pad or something or any primer?

now that this is a topic how and how hard is it to do the cloth&vinyl bucket seats i have a light grey seats thats needed to be dyed dark blue

I don't know about leather, but on fabric i found that brushing it with an old brush keeps the fabric from getting stiff.
Also never tried to change colors completly but it should be fine just more coats.

Painting vinyl is easy I usualy clean it with laquar thinner then spray it. The thinner will soften it and get better adhesion.
