Anyone have any pictures of a Malibu with Rocket wheels on them? Looking at the silver painted 17" 5-spokes they have. I think they'd look good on a light colored car.

yeah, I wanna see more of MalibuJoel's black 'Bu! that is one sharp car!
I'm running 15x8 ralley's, with 205/60 BF Goodrich's up front, and 275/60 BF's in the rear...4 inch backspacing in the rear, I'm assuming the same up front...everything is stock, e.g. brakes, frame, etc....good clearance all around

I have a 78 Malibu Wagon and want to know if a 15X8 steel wheel with 4.5" backspacing will work on the rear with no modifications, while using a 275/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A. Would a 4" backspacing be better? If that large of tire won't work, what is the biggest I can use with the 4.5" backspacing? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I think I found my answer... looks like a 4" backspacing is the way to go.

Stock 84 SS Wheels - 15X7 think they are 3.5" BS 255/60-15 rear and 215/65-15 fronts - stock 6cyl suspension. Plenty of room in rear.

Yeah, 255/60 isn't all that big for a G-Body. I have 255/70s on mine and there's lots of room to spare.
