Fellas I saw this 1994 Camaro with the complete rear disk breaks on it so I took it. My question I use this year set up on my 86 442? I know I'm gonna have to do a little cutting and drilling holes but I don't mind that. Also if I can use the set up, if I come across a later model say like a 98-01. Will I able to bolt them on directly? Tell me what you think!

Thanks Kin

98-01 required the exact same fab work as well. Both setups require that you cut the top off the flange where the wheel cylinder would mount for the drum brakes ( making it a 1 way road so you cannot go back to drum brakes )

Man I never want to go back to drums! I hate it drum brakes. . . I just want to make sure that if I put this 94 Caramo rear brake set up on my rear that I will be able to switch to the 98-03 LS1 set up.

... why are you doing it twice ??? If you want the LS1 brakes then put them on. Would you install a 355 motor while building a 383 ??

I was looking for the LS1 rear brake set up but came across the 94/ LT1 set up instead but I might just hold off and wait until me and my buddies go to this other salvage yard we never been to. And see if I will be lucky enough to find the LS1 rear brake set up.

That site is pretty good the LS1 brake conversion thread on the Buick site was a little bit more detailed but both helped me out on how to go about the set up. Thanks a lot everybody!
