need help with heater problem

at first my heat would not blow on high and just as its getting real cold i cant get any heat. when i move the switch nothing happens but i do hear a click from the relay when i put it on high. do i just need a new relay?

MORE THAN LIKELY THE ac BLOWER RELAY IS GOING OUT, BUT CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE GROUND TO THE BLOWER MOTOR HOUSING IS SECURE-A LOT OF TIMES THAT IS THE PROBLEM FOR INTERMITTENT BLOWER OPERATION. -JABIN

Pass side between the carb and valve cover there's a wire harness with a connector. Pull it apart and you'll probably see the conection for the red wire is corroded. Clean it up and see what happens.

i went back out last night and got it to blow but still no high. wasnt getting a good connection to one of the plugs.

IIRC, the highest speed has it's own red wire. Follow that same harness Webber mentioned and you should find it. Either the connection is corroded or the relay is kaput.
