just wondering if anyone has used this combo. scored a complete 4.8 for my dad's 87ss. this is gonna be more a driver and the trans/ car only have 54k on it so would like to reuse the trans.
now have people been able to use the TV cable? just make brackets? how about the lockup converter? can still use the truck ecu for the lockup? the main reason for using the stock trans is to retain the speedo and OD. Dad wants to retain all the factory look/function on smallest budget lol.
