Is there such thing as a budget supercharger?

Was toying around the idea of slapping a centrifugal supercharger on the (1976) olds 350 I have. It will be stock with a performer rpm intake, roller rockers, holley 750, and full length headers. Is there such a thing as buying a used supercharger and throwing it on with low psi for the weekend cruises. Ive seen so many people with civics and such throw on a small stock turbo system and get good results with no other upgrades so could this work? Also, are there brackets for a supercharger for the olds small block? Thanks.

It seems like it would be more money and harder to do. Plus, I already have full length headers, I would have to do a rear mounted turbo, not that I'm against that, but like I said it seems harder and expensive.

A few more questions I was thinking about. With low boost would I need a blow through carb? I have a holley 750 with electric choke and vaccuum secondaries (could convert it to no choke). Also, would it be ok to run it with a v-belt with the water pump/alt/crank? I am removing power steering so I could just toss it down there (if it fits). Or should I run it on its own v-belt, or get some sort of adapter to run a serpentine belt with it?

Why not go with a small roots setup like mine? No mods to the carb, no exhaust work, setup to work with v-belts and serpentine. And you could find a cheap one for sale.

Its an oldmobile 350, that wouldn't work with it, would it? Also, I wouldn't have the space, and its a LeMans so aftermarket hoods aren't that readily available. If I could find another cheap stock hood I wouldn't mind cutting it up as long as I had another stock one for my other motor I have planned.

I'm not 100% sure but you may be able to buy the intake for it. Or you can use something like this
