Where to mount the turbo????

Is it best to have a front mounted turbo or rear???

Front by far.
81 Malibu,6.0 unported heads stock bottom end vic jr. intake quick fuel carb on 125 shot. Best of 10.75 124 mph

Especially in our Bu's, there is no excuse for needing a rear...

My radiator sits in this laying down, and the turbo goes right behind the grill
turbo lsx in progress...fall KOTS mayb?

My turbo is between the motor and radiator.
79 Malibu, 355cid, stock block and crankshaft, iron heads, Bullet cam, CSU E-85 blow thru, TH400 w PTC converter, BTE brake, Astro Van driveshaft, 10 bolt, 3.08 gears, 3680 lbs:
6.20@114 mph, 1.46 60'
9.70@143 mph, 1.54 60'

'86 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon 442 - 10.35 @ 68
'70 Cutlass S - 25k miles bone stock
'70 Cutlass S - high compression 350 SBO, Crane 280 cam, 425 heads, 3.90 gears

Front mounted you have tons of room for a good sized turbo.
