i have a 12 bolt housing in my g body now thinkin about sellin it going with nine inch .. how fast has everyone been and what is done to them .. any breakage?
Spool, good axles, cover girdle, c-clip eliminators. Bottom tens @ 131mph plus. No problems and many others have gone way faster than me with a 12 bolt.

I used to have a 1970 12 bolt in the Monte.
It had all Moser internals, @ 3450# motor only,
BBC Transbrake @ 6k, 9's @ 146

they live into the bottom 8's with good parts. The plus is they're lighter than a 9" and cheaper to build, the con is that you're limited to gears and especially pro-gears
yea im still debating as i have a engine capable of high 7,s prolly gonna end up using it and seeing what happens..
