Finally getting somewhere with my cage. All that is left is the door bars.

Thanks. It started as a Jegster kit and when my buddy screwed it up and welded it to plates rather than the frame, I had to cut it up. So the only thing I reused was the hoop and the back bar. The rest I had to buy extra tubing. It took a little time to get it right. But I think when I finally get it buttoned up and put the dash back in, it's gonna look real slick.

Hey Guys, Theres some really great looking cages here and Ide be proud to have mine look and work as god as any of them but what Ide like to see if possible is how the connections to the frame rails were made. Particulary Ide like to see some pics of how you cut out the floor section to weld in the main hoop and how that section of the floor is replaced also the front connection points on the door bars. Any pics of these points would be greatly appreciated. If someone has some and they are to big to post here you are welcome to send them to my email. Thanks again and thats some really great work you guys have shown.

guess will try to get pics of my car this weekend. i am bending up a 10pt for my 86 el camino. will be chromo. have main hoop done floors opened up for where cage mounts

My friend build a new cage for my car welded to the frame, please leet me know what you think guys, i know there is a lot of rust everywhere hahaha, its time to try the POR15 products

Rear shot of new cage I bent up and installed. As you can see, I use the back of my wagon to haul stuff to and from the track..LOL

shady, I like how you made it so you can use your back seat still. That was something i want if I need a bar. I know you have a cage in there. Did you bend that up??
