I have new stock springs in the rear on my malibu and new small v6 springs up front but the front still sits higher than the back, the car doesn't have alot of driving time on it yet but it doesn't seem like they will ever settle lower than now, can i install spring spacers in the rear to level it out untill the front settle if ever.

any cons to using spacers ?

You could try them, I used spring spacers and it helped a little but with stock springs that are not cargo springs the more weight that added the more the car will sag.

those won't raise the rear of the car, they are used to keep the spring from compressing

Jegs says it spreads the springs apart to raise or flip the brackets to lower the car by compressing the springs.

don't use those, they increase the ride height by increasing the spring rate. you just want to use a spacer between the car and spring. see the link fro the idea. you want to do something like that.

I got the shortest springs they make for the 6 cylinder engine . i was thinking it would be ALOT shorter instead of higher, good thing i didn't use the v8 springs.

I sure hate fooling with those springs but if they have to come out i will have to do it.

Any idea how long it should take for them to settle, anything i can do to speed it up?
