Just another question with my rebuild. Used the Hughes rebuild kit and it is a good kit. My question is. When I checked end play before the rebuild their was 0 end play. Installing the pump after rebuild and replaced the torrington bearing with a new one I had 0 end play. Can you just use a new thrust washer in the place of the bearing. How do you know if the pump is machined for a bearing. There is Torrington bearings in the trans do you have to use a bearing under the pump. Please help needed to finish trans. Thanks

Yes, you can replace the bearing with a thrust washer in order to achieve proper end-play in the TH350. You may have to shim the washer accordingly.
