Hey Guys,
Gonna be pulling the engine to freshen it up and was considering doing the same for the transmission. What I was wondering should i tear the transmission right down or just filter and fluid, it doesn't slip or act up.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance

I always think if it isn't broken, don't fix it just fluid and filter it,then again with the motor out for some love why not share some of it with the transmission? Looking back i guess i'm not much help :)

Depends what you do with the car in a year. Street driven, leave it. Track time: think of the mess if you blow a transmission and spread fluid. Cheap insurance if the motor's out to have a GOOD transmission shop refresh yours. We are track only so log book captures runs , fluid changes, temp's etc. so fluid / filter and gasket are changed yearly. We check fluid for metal shavings . Average 100 - 125 runs a year.
Be good to your transmission and the car will like you..
