A leak is a leak! Whether it leaks when is running or sitting is hard to say. A lot of times, centrifugal force from the converter causes the fluid to fling against the inside of the bellhousing.when the engine is off, the fluid gradually runs to the bottom of the dust cover and falls to the ground. A slow leak will not hurt anything as long as you keep it full.but it is really aggravating!

X2^^, on checking the Pump, something's causing wear where the Pump Gear rides, possibly bad Bushing. May also want to check the TC snout for runout.

I'm guessing it the torque converter making the leak, i got it pressure tested at a trans shop they said it was good. I did change the seal and the bushing and bought the front pump non leak kit the gasket and big o ring around the pump and washers for the bolts, so that's y I'm thinking it the converter that's the only thing i did not change even though they said it was good. russ moore transmissions.

i want going to put it back together yet but i was doing a frame off and didnt have the money to get the converter at the time.

I really don't know but I have had several factory converters that looked just like yours on the snout. I have never had a pan gasket seal 100 % and the last drain kit I put in a pan had a very slow leak. I'm not an expert by any means of the word, just relating my experiences.
