What exactly did you change (changed heads, intake, carb, and transmission (went with a transbrake) to try and run a 9?
How much of a shot were you using?

Yes I changed all that you mentioned and a new yank 3600 nitrous convertor.. 150 edelbrock plate

Sorry I should have been more specific.
-What carb did you have and what do have now (cfm/model)
-What model trans are you running ( PG, th-350, 4L80E)
-What intake? I see your using TFS 220's which are cathedral port I thnk?

I'm just curious as this is simliar to my combo.

317 heads to as cast 220's TF
750 dp holley to a 950 quickfuel
350 turbo to a 400 turbo
victor jr to a super victor and yes cathedral...
1 3/4 headers 3inch collector to 1 7/8 with 3.5 collector as well

Did you make any motor passes with the new parts before the diff let go?
What diff did you have?

yes picked up 3mph 1/8 mile track from 95 to 98.6 right off the trailor track is far away....convertor is very tight....hears the vid u can tell how it lugs it down....I'm embarrased to post a et...lol
car is full weight 3480 before the cage don't know what it weighs now...it wasnt a nodular center...i have a new moser nodular center in it now should be okay...thanks..

What are you using for the front suspension? Do you have it set up as a drag car?
I'm building a street/daily car. Full suspension, sway, bracing, AC. I'm trying to get an idea of spring rate for the car since I will not know the front end weight of the car until its all put back together, and I hate the idea of doing front springs more than once.

qa1 coilovers with a 350 pound spring...its a street car 80% of the time but is set up for drag....no sway bars....full weight car 400 wouldn't be out of the question i had to crank and crank on the spring perch to get the front end up on mine with the 350...

what headers are you using with this swap? I think I'm going to nix the turbo and pull out the 4.8 and do a 6.0 w/l92 heads and holley highram intake and comp cams.
