Can the torque converter be wired into the cruise control switch?

yes that one fuse will provide power for two draws but if it's to much for the circuit the fuse would blow. so if you had two things plugged into one circuit and only one was working i'd look to the item that wasn't working.are you fimilar with a test light? that would help you along with an answer
Since I put the new wire tip on, the battery went dead. The torque converter lockup toggle switch worked until I put the cruise control on the same fuse. I have a volt meter any ideas what I need to check?

barring the newfound dead battery issue,use the meter to see if there's power @the square plug that runs the lock up when being powerd by that same cruise control circuit.if there's no power there but the cruise control works then it's another issue.
