x2 keep the L92 intake anyways you're gonna want that with the L92 heads. I say drop it in as it is, CTS-V oil pan, BRP mounts, and your choice of headers and your golden. You'll probably want to end up using those LS1 front accessories with your car but the truck ones will still work.

L92, L99, LS3? I think trading your 5.3 for that would be a pretty decent deal regardless of RPO. Especially if you are planning to do some mods to it.

Unless you are using a car intake I think the limiting factor is the intake and not the TB.

What headers, coil packs, and mounts did you use? And did you have to modify the A/C box at all?

Don't be shy when you find a DoD (displacement on demand) engine with the cylinder shutdown feature. They use special lifters to control the affected cylinders. Replace them with LS7 or some other choice and your good.

What tank is this? Is this the stock Malibu one, or is this a Grand National or EFI Monte tank? Also is that the GN pump that was linked on eBay in one of the threads around here? Thanks for documenting the build so much this is going to make my swap easier.

Thanks guys appreciate the replies. Those are really the only questions that I had right now. There's someone nearby selling a complete LQ4 with 317 heads with the harness and computer for $1200 but because I don't really plan on using the 317's I think I may just keep on looking.
