    TKO swap thread

Any chance on running a stock replacement type stick? That'd be pretty cool, though throws would be a little longer than what you have right now.

What did U do to your G-body today??

It came up in conversation between my mom & my aunt tonight (my parents fly out of Phoenix in a couple hours back to MI), we were talking about ways they might move all their stuff out here, hopefully within the year. On top of my random crap that's still up there (mostly car related stuff, but...

    Front end still shakes?

I'd say check everything suspension related... ball joints won't be as easy to check because it'll have to be suspended in the air, and then you'll need a jack to take the weight off the ball joints.

You may be able to come up with something using a stock console, stick coming up through the stock shifter plate.

    headers with a 4 speed

Ditto... the coatings on the Hooker headers I have on mine didn't even last until I started driving it. The car sat for a year or two after I put them on and it was starting to bubble before I even started driving it regularly.

    Gauge Pics

The '78-'79 dashes don't have the passenger side plaque, '80 has a narrow strip along thepassenger side, and the one in the pic is an '81+.

    Landau vs. Sedan Interior panels

You'll probably need to do some searching for used, or get them new from Dixie Monte Carlo.

    What are these gauges

Also, certain clusters came without the volt/oil/temp gauges. They either had warning lights where the gauges normally go, or off to the side. The ones with lights where the gauges reside can't be adapted to use gauges, but warning lights to the side of the cluster (in the bezel itself) can have...

    headers with a 4 speed

I have a 600 Edelbrock vac. sec. on mine, 'cause it was cheap & I got it from the junkyard I worked at. It seems to run well, but I would also probably go for a QJet for part throttle response and still have the extra cfm available. Having built a 383 with TBI and tuned it though, I plan on...

Aftermarket EFI... troubleshooting, diagnostics, and service

Re: Aftermarket EFI... troubleshooting, diagnostics, and ser I don't know what you have in mind, but if you're considering TBI, I would also look into a Vortec intake and heads. If they do for a BBC what they did for an SBC, then that's a lot of potential using factory parts. It will also be...

Rear disc brake bolt on kits.....

I'm a fan of using production parts, much less chance of having to change to a new setup down the road.

CAR IDLES GOOD, BUT WONT DRIVE FORWARD

Meaning...??? Does it stall? Does it just not move while in gear? Does it act like you're holding the brakes? If it still runs fine but doesn't move while in gear I say transmission.

    cam and converter help!

Compression would make it kinda lazy with too much cam, I'm guessing 230-235 on the intake max, 3,000-3,500 stall. That's a really rough guess though.

    gauge cluster help

Take a gander at the back of your Regal cluster, the gauges will share a +12v trace, and the illumination bulbs will share their ground trace with the gauges. The remaining connection for each gauge will be the lead to the sending unit, etc. Then do the same for the warning lights, blinkers...

    new transmission tunnel humps?

I still need to get a the steel part too :? It'll be a while before I get back to work on the '78 though so I'm not really in a hurry, probably just order it from the Parts Place, as it's the last piece to my puzzle.

    AFTERMARKET WIRING HARNESS

One from Painless will probably work. I don't know if the bulkhead from the same era Camaro/Firebird is the same but they make a direct-fit harness for them. You may be able to have them make one with the bulkhead, leave the wiring un-terminated, and include the proper connectors so you can put...
