I had that regulator and pump. I ditched the regulator after I couldn't get the damn thing to run at 6 psi. it would be around 12 and 9 no matter what way i turned it. Kept flooding my motor. Might have just been a faulty one but I went out and got a better one for 30 bucks.

I would go with it if you are getting it for a steal, and if it breaks just get another one for cheap. I wouldn't toss money in one like everyone else is saying. My cousin has a mild 350, broke one 7.5 and ended up finding one for free, swapped it in and kept driving.

To be honest, I don't remember how I put the torque converter on. I kind of just popped the old one off and slapped on the new one. I have a gallon of fluid in the pan right now. I also haven't had the motor run too long because I need to get the fuel pressure and timing corrected a little better.

Its a factory gauge cluster from a LeMans or Grand Prix with the tach and spedometer instead of the clock and spedometer. I'll try and post up a pic later tonight. Computer crapped out on me so I'm not on much.

I have a tach/speedo assembly but the back of the tach has a switch to change from v8-v6. Mine is broken off and doesn't specify what way is what. Does anyone know if left is v8 or right is v8? I can toss up a picture later to help show what Im talking about. thanks.

I would stick with the turbo. Drive it nice and easy and you wont be gobbling gas. But let the turbos kick and and have fun when you want 8)

I found out they sell some on speedway motors. I haven't been up close to mine in a while but the one on their site looked just like the original, also comes with a new sensor as well. I may have to pick one up because mines nasty looking. I think it was like $60ish

Finished wiring the alternator, installed and wired new temp gauge sender and oil pressure sender, bolted in my wheel wells. Tomorrow I am going to finish mounting the battery, finish up all the loose ends on the wiring, change out dummy lights to gauges, and clock to tach, factory brushed...
