12 bolt cross over

Just found an ad for a 12 bolt out of a " early 70 s nova , tempest, Lemans". Looks like it has same mounts etc from ad but how would fit my 80 malibu

You would need 12 bolt swap control arms, different backspace for rims, u-joints. Best to find out exactly what yr the rear is. I did the 12 bolt swap in mine.

Nova had leaf springs and make sure its not a BOP rear. Pontiac and olds, and buick used a rear with 12 bolts in the cover but was a 10 bolt unit. They used bolt in axles and nothing from a Chevy 12 bolt will interchange.
