Does anyone know what the stock rear end gear ratio is for a 88 Monte wit a 4.3 tbi/ 200 4r Combination?

Well I checked the RPO sticker inside the trunk lid and it says GU1 which equates to a stellar 2.41 gear. Guess I will change it to something more suitable.
I can top that. My 305 Cutlass originally came with 2.29's. Even in the 1/8mi I only used 1st and 2nd gear back when I was gettin' started. An early "fix" was to get a pair of 225-50x15 drag radials which were not only sticky but at 23.9" tall effectively "regeared" it somewhat.
