welds are only coming in 4.5 and 5.5 backspace and they go from 8 to 10" in width.

I have an 84 Regal and got 15x8" with 4" backspacing on the stock rear. The tires are sitting perfectly inside wheelwells.

If you add 1.5" to each side for the wider rear, then add the same to the wheel backspacing.

Provided the 12 bolt is 3" wider, a 15x8" with 5.5" b.s would be perfect.

that's what I had also, but I don't know if they'd fit without a notch. I don't know how far the frame come out to guestimate. My new wheels are 9" 5 7/8"bs lots of room still and they tuck.

hmmm

Illegal,

If you are running 5 7/8" b.s then a 5.5 should fit without a notch...thats on my Regal anyways.

I just gotta figure out how to get my Regal lowered in the back with my tucked Drag radials....

p.s. I do KNOW that anything less than a 5" b.s with a stock width 12 bolt will stick out.Good luck.
