I have a weird problem, and im still trying to figure it out. I have the ZEX perimeter plate and had it jetted for 150. ran great. i went 11.52 on motor and 10.54 on the 150. i put the 200 pills in it, and it went 11.13 2 times in a row. put the 150 pills BACK in and ran a 10.60... i dont know why it wont take the extra 50HP. any ideas? bottle was at 1000 the whole time, fuel at 6 psi. pulled 6 degrees for 150 and 8 degrees for 200.

do you have a seperate fuel regulator for the fuel side of the nitrous...also i would do anothe pass on the 200 set up, and tow back to the pits and pull a plug..that will tell you allot.

Yes i have a separate fuel system completely for the nitrous. its set at 6 PSI

Try leaving the timing at 6. and just a thought, do the pills have numbers on them? could they have gotten mixed up and you were hitting it with the 200 when it went 10.60? I dont know much about the bottle, that's why i say its just a thought.

No the pills are marked fine, and i double checked cause i thought the same thing... its a ZEX perimeter plate system and bottle. definitely a stumper!

I dunno. im still stumped with this. i put 150 pills in 10.54 i went. put 200 pills in went 11.13, put the 150 pills back in went 10.60. its so confusing. i was told my octane was not high enough for the 200 shot, but the car never stumbles. so over winter im going to put a 1 gal sell in it and runa higher octane gas. i run 110 in it and its 13.5:1.

To start with the basics....Are you following the ZEX tuning baselines for the specific plate, and was the system new when you put it on?

That type of plate circulates nitrous and fuel around the entire body of the plate, and it has more orifices than a spray bar plate. Therefore, you need bigger jets than a spray bar system would require to keep the pressure right so delivery is consistent. Also, is it using their solenoids, and are they rated above 150hp?

I would think 110 octane is plenty for the main fuel system and nitrous system. A good way to see what is going on would be to read the plugs as mentioned. Very possible it is leaning out.
