I had 15x8 with either 3.5 or 4 inch b.s and ran 275-60's with no problems, but now with the 12 bolt i have 15x8 with 5.5 b.s and still use the 275-60's with no problems.

Don't know what kind of car your puttin these on or if you have a stock length rear end , but.....in general, a 3.5" bs 8' wide wheel will work fine on a '81-later Monte, Cutlass, or Regal cause they have a larger fender opening than the earlier cars and the Malibu. If it's a 'Bu then it will have to sit at stock height and the fenderlip be trimmed or at least rolled. Really the best 8" wide wheel to fit a 275/60 is a 4" bs wheel. Largest I was ever able to use without issues on a 3.5" bs was a 255/60.

Yup. It will fit on a bu, but you have to trim the fender lip and you can't really lower it
