I'm replacing all the brake lines on my mustang (i know its not a malibu lol) and had a question. I know that there is a reason that the brake lines around the master and the porportioning valve have these extra loops and bends in them but I want to know WHY??? I want to make sure i make the lines right the first time to avoid any problems. So what are those extra bends and loops in there for????????

I believe it's for chassis flex so it doesn't put as much force on the master cylinder.

Yep, just like on newer vehicles they have a flexible braided section inline by the brake reservoir and/or the ABS block.
