c100 pink wire help

first off...very new to the forum! I'm the outside guy stalking the forum. Just starting the build on my 79 Malibu and trying to figure out the hack job on the wiring. Out of the c100 (engine side) there is 7 wire coming out for the power, water, oil, alt, and starter. There is one pink 10-12 awg wire that I can not figure out it's purpose. I've looked over the posted wiring schem and have had no luck

figured it out..wire from ign. switch to fuse panel. Wire from engine side would have went to Distributor
