alright so my car is an original 60/40 split bench

so today i went out and bought a camaro passenger side seat

took the tracks off the camaro and put my old passenger side bench tracks on....now i tried to fit them into the car and looks like its off a good inch or two.

i dont have any fab skills or materials whatsoever

so what do i do here to get them to fit correctly?

thanks

I once posted all of the seat track part numbers. The bucket seat tracks are not the same as the split tracks.

The camaro seats are wider than the g-body seats. So buying the right tracks won't make a difference.

FWIW that's not true Junior....I unbolted my factory bucket tracks and bolted them to the bottom of the 97 camaro seats and set them in the car.....almost any domestic GM bucket seat will work....I tried Sunfire seats too but didn't like the way they looked in the car

FYI his first post did not state 4th gen seats, 2nd and 3rd gen seats are different. Mid 90's gm seats will work, as most mid size and compact gm use a generic seat frame/base.

I've had 3rd gen Camaro seats (86 model in particular) in a g-body as well, the seat mount dimensions are the same as the 4th gen....second gen however, are wider.
