Chevy Celeberity h-eadlights?

i saw a monte ss on ebay today and he had celeberity one piece headlights with an hid kit in them, does anyone have any information on that swap cause im interested in doing that and i was wondering if there is anything i have to do to make them fit or wire something differently, what brand i should buy for the hid kit and what year celeb they should be out of if it matters...thanks -tony

It's not an SS, it's an LS. Those are the stock headlights and grill for that year. I had an LS exactly like that. Those aren't HIDs. They're stock plastic units that take H3 bulbs (IIRC). Those were the WORST headlights ever conceived. A match in a glass tube would be better. Don't bother.

I believe Lauren Engineering makes a kit to install the Celebrity headlamps in an MCSS.

are they the celebrity headlights or the cutlass lights? I was thinking of doing this as well, got a set of cutlass lights from the boneyard(glass and made by bosch fwiw) but they weren't as wide as my bezels and didnt go any further with it. Got em for $40/pair and ended up selling them for $150 on the net. :mrgreen:
