One of my projects this winter was installing a complete MSD ignition system in the Monte. I decided to mount the ignition box and coil inside the car. Now the coil wire will be running along the inside of the firewall right behind the radio.

I'm not running a solid core coil wire or anything, but is it possible I'll still pick anything up off this coil wire inside the car? If so, is there anything I could wrap or cover the wire in to prevent this?

TIA for any input!

MSD designed these firewall feed-thrus to prevent voltage leaks in passenger compartment mounted coil applications. Made from Rynite and nylon, they provide a 1/2 in. of insulation to ensure that the coil's spark reaches the distributor. They mount in a 1 in. diameter hole directly to the firewall and have high tension towers on each side, connected through a brass rod for full spark transfer. p/n 8211 and 8212 for black.
