Drip rail moldings

Reinstalling the moldings now and wondering if any of you had a need to reglue them to the body drip rails? I know they were originally. Seem to fit fairly tight and "snap" into place. Had them de-anodized and polished. Any thoughts?

After my 81 Malibu was painted I just "snap" them back on, I havnt had any problems with them. Doug

Sounds good. Wasn't sure if they needed adhesive or not.
