Hello I purchased some drop spindles from a swap meet for my 1980 malibu. They were advertised as g body drop spindles. The spindles look exactly like stock except dropped of course but there is a difference in the ball joint holes on the lowers. The new spindles seem to have a larger ball joint hole/taper when when trying to install. The only identification it says on spindles is "RHLH 64-74 "stamped . Other thing I noticed is dust cover holes are different threads but I'm already tapped them to metrics to use factory bolt. What do I do about lower ball joint hole being different?

Unfortunately, it sounds like the wrong part to me due to the dates on them. Pontiac & Chevy had a G body back then...

Everything else is the same but the hole that was taper bored into lower spindle. Bummer there is no special ball joint.
