How good are these trans? My buddy has one that's supposed to be rebuilt. Was thinking about stuffing it into my 64 behind my 327

How stout is the 327? Slicks or street tires? Super T10s weren't exactly the toughest 4 speed ever built, but the NASCAR guys use them on ovals. I think you should be OK if it's in good shape and you don't abuse it.
