whats better to use when plumbing nitrous? the one piece Y or the flare union TEE. Or does it really make a difference because both flow the same

I would use the Y. The tee would be ok up to a 125hp shot but once you spray that you will want 250hp. Ha Ha!

I agree, one piece Y... preferably something like this:

You may spend more on the Y, but you save $$$ on fitting ends.
