Gm 12 blot info

Thinking of switching to a gm 12 bolt i know the upper arms change but i have some questions

1) do they use the same bolt pattern for the wheels as a 7.5
2) Do i have to use a different driveshaft i have a 4inch dia piece now with a th400
3) what changes the backspaing increases or decreases
4) are the spring perches/ shock mounts in the same location.

yes they have the same bolt pattern
you can use the same shaft might have to get it cut to the right size, i would get a stronger one instead of the stock one
you increase your backspacing
perches and shock mounts are in the same spot
