In my two trips to the strip this year,my MPH has been very similar,104.6-105.8.the ET has gone from 14.0s to my best this past saturday of a 12.89.On my 14 flat passes,I left the trans in drive and it shifted at around 4900rpm,and crossed the stripe at about the same.On the 12 sec pass,I shifted at like 6300rpm but I didnt check the stripe RPM.The convertor is a noname 10 inch that stalls around 3000.Would the convertor slipping limit the speed where the et varies that much?
Is my convertor bad?
