im just wanting an opinion if you guys thing i should put a 4 speed in my car or a 5 speed :?:

I would base it upon intended use & engine combo. In a nutshell, if you make a lot of torque you don't need a lot of gear splits.

I'm drooling over the new 6 speed automatic (I think made by TCI). Based off a 4L80E. Comes with paddle shifters to mount behind the steering wheel. Torque converter, dipstick, control module, trans fluid...everything included. Almost 6 grand, though! :shock:

I've got a 4 speed because my cam is so large that it won't run low RPMs, so overdrive would be wasted in my car. If your car can use overdrive then get a 5 speed.
