Kore3 big brakes

Ok I am serously looking at a set of the C-5/C-6 big brake upgrade. But they are saying they have two sets one for the short spindle and one for the tall. I want to use the one for the short but they talk about them being cast or forged.

Well my malibu is 1979 all stock front suspesion(for now) so what spindle does this car have the cast? or the forged?

GM short-spindle (cast) with integral caliper mount is not compatible with KORE3 big-brake conversion kits. Must either swap to older style forged short-spindle or convert to tall-spindle and then use appropriate kit. Note that swapping to the forged short-spindle will require spindles complete with steering arms as they are separate pieces on the forged units. Other modifications required.
