Alright got a 2 door malibu thats been lightend up a lil bit with glass bumpers and removed heater. plan on dropping a complete l92 motor in it with ls3 intake and vvt3 cam by mast with a 3200 stall in th400 or 3600 stall in 4l80. Rear gear with th400 would be 3.90 and with the 4l80e would likely be 4.10 or 4.30s. Do You think this combo could get me into the 10s? What would I have to do the l92 motor other than the vv3 cam to get there other than headers injectors and cold air intakes? May sound dumb but this is my goal and I want to know what needs to be done before I get knee deep in a 12 secind car.

I have this exact combo on paper. I figured conservatively 450 crank hp and at 3300 lbs it calculates to low 11's.

That is with a 4l80 and 4.30 gear and a 295 tire.

Here was my set-up!
78 Malibu Ligthened 3075 lbs without driver. Stock LQ9 Bottom End, Stock LS6 Heads, Stock LS6 Intake, Stock LS6 Throttle Body, Comp Cam XR273 Cam, 4L60E TCI Trans with 3200 Stall. Granny Rear with 3.73 Gears, Stock Front Suspension, Adjustable rear control arms, no anti-roll bar with Mickey Drag Radial.
1.5 60 ft got the car from 11.6-7 down to 11.2 @ 118 mph by the end of the day. Car made 400 HP to the rear wheel. You will need altleast 450 HP at rear wheel in order to get that 4L80E in the 10's.

Friend of mine had completely stock LQ4 with a Cam and had spray on it with 4L80E. He was going low 12's and when he sprayed it he went down into 10.60's but on motor was 12 sec car. This was in a Buick T-Type.

Last time I went to the track it ran 11.83@115 with a 1.71 60'. I was on Nitto NT555r's and I wasn't doing nearly enough time in the burnout box before staging.

Car put down 378rwhp on the dyno.

Stock bottom LQ4, Katech rod bolts, PRC stage 2.5 243's with Z06 valves, PRC .675 springs, TR224 cam (.561/.561,224/224 on 112LSA), LS6 intake, ported TB and MAF, BRP 1-7/8 headers
FLT Level 4 4L60E, Yank 3600
8.5 rear, 3.73's
245/50 DR's 26" tire
3450 race weight last time weighed before the spare tire crap was taken out.
No front sway bar, hotchkis rear sway bar, tubular uppers boxed lowers, Bilstein shocks

With the mods you have planned I wouldn't be suprised it hit 10's after a good tune.

Good tune is critical, a mail order tune from Frost with everything above was only 301 and ran stupid rich. Took it to a reputable tuner up North, made a pull the next pull was another 20 by just adjusting driveability making it more street friendly. Paid $350 and picked up 78rwhp. I wish I could buy that again!
