Just thought i would post up my buddies times from his ls1 swaped 70 nova.

It has a set of cheap forged pistons, with a small cam 22x/23x and a edelebrock carb intake, with the msd ls1 box with a big shot plate jetted to 180hp. last night it went 10.33, 10.35 and 10.37 all at a little over 130mph

That is a very nice Nova, the detail in the engine compartmant is pristine, the owner Mike is a super nice guy, and helpful to fellow racers. If you panned the camera right on the rear shot you'd see my Malibu.

transmission cooler??

what is the reason for mounting... whar i asume to be the transmission cooler where it is.... does it even have room on the back?? and wont it be "cooled" by hot engine compartment air????

i take it the dipstick likes to blow out?

I think..not sure but that trans cooler setup would work good if its a puller fan and its drawing cool air from the heater vent on the upper cowl.

otherwise your just blowing 400 degree air from the hot headers.
