I had a Torsen LSD which is a smaller scale version of the Trutrac. Same design and operating style. ALWAYS launched straight with both wheels turning. BUT after four seasons of full time racing it was full of shavings from the wormgear/case friction which is how it works. Still worked but developed a hesitation in engagement.

got a mini-spool in my bu. the only time really bothers me in town. or tight parking

Dude, you're askin' for trouble street driving with a minispool. Gonna' have a REALLY bad day sooner than later.
