malibu paint help

I'm getting a 78 malibu painted and i was hoping for some suggestions. Its a drag car and it will be a bright metallic green. I want to put some graphics or stripes or something on it to give it some flash. I'm going for a nostalgic look. I don't want anything that will look 80's tacky . Anyone have any pictures or ideas of designs that look good on malibu's ?
