Here is a couple of pics of my 1980 Malibu, currently has a bbc w/ glide and is running a 7.0 in an 1/8th mile.

My latest project I bought Dec 2008. I'm doing a near total restoration on it...

As delivered...

Very first thing I done was pull the carpet and cleaned and painted the floor pans...

Torn down but still runs and drives in and out of the shop...

Took it down to the bare metal and now etching primer is on it...

Now it had filler primer on it for block sanding...

Now it has base coat silver metallic...

Now it has clear coat...

It's been wet sanded and buffed...

Now, it's getting ready to take the engine out for a rebuild and add some high performance parts. I'm looking to get at least 500 RWHP out of this one with my old "hand-me-down-parts" I've accumulated over the years...lol!

Here's what the interior looks like now! All new upholstry, carpet, headliner, upper door panels...etc.

9.86 @ 134.32 Best ET on motor only. Runs consistently in the 9.80's. Working on getting the fogger set up for some runs in late Oct. Plan on putting a 250 shot on the motor.

Last run I made the front bumper rivets all popped out. And being how I think it make the car look a lit bit meaner, I might just leave it off. Not to mention it helps the car run cooler.
