thanks , i painted it. put the top on to. believe it or not if you look at a couple of my other posts it shows the work being done in my driveway. i just have a small storage building to keep my tool , compressor and such in. other than painting just a fender on my sons car this was my first full paint job. i painted the hood deck lid and doors inside the building and the rest outside. it turned out pretty good. im hoping to build a garage at the start of spring. looking for another malibu to do a full frame off job on. ive still need to put the mirrors on and put the black seats in but gotta wait on the weather to get better. once again thanks.

Yes i was, I still have to let the paint completely cure/dry and i will get on the ball..

I think the tailgate would look pretty cool with a set of brushed aluminum strips similar to this:

Then maybe have one of these airbrushed at the top center of the gate:

The Chevrolet script would look a bit more streamlined/clean I think though.
