I'm guessing that's the original paint. I see the side molding is still there, and the paint is missing from the ends of the filler panel still. I applaud the elbow grease you put into it :awesome:

Nope, original paint is light blue like the silver blue, the paint was chalky so I did a good srub job and that's what it came out like. The stuff that looked like surface rust came off with a little more elbow grease.

My plan is to get it painted Viper Blue some year.....
