Thats originally what I wanted to do,I think that will look real good.

It is somewhat hard to be original with a hood anymore. People have done just about everything imaginable. I always like seeing a new idea or a new twist on an old idea.

Another idea I have had is rather then a cowl, get a hood from a early 50's chevy truck, cut and section that hood down, then add it like a raised cowl section. Nothing terribly tall, just 2 inches or so. Is that clear as mud?

It would be hard to get it to look right and to have the proper flow, but it will be pretty slick.

I've thought something that followed the body lines would look decent, like what's available for the Fox Bodies.

I thought about that as well, but the hood lines are so wide on a malibu and gmt-400 truck, that I don't know if would look good unless it was maybe just an inch tall.
