How do you manage the engine tune (spark table and feedback) with a carburetted LS-style engine?

its carburated and i use the msd to adjust timing with the laptop

Does the MSD have any feedback provisions? or does it just allow you to configure a timing curve like a car with a distributor built before 1981?
