Im looking for a good combo for a street motor. I have a fresh 350 short block. What cam heads intake and carb would make for a good street motor. Its going to be a daily driver. Might hit the strip 3 or 4 times a year if that and it will be drivin far distances the transmission is either going to be a 4 speed stick of a turbo 350 and the rear will more than likly have 342s. Thanks for any input

Vortec heads, XE262H or XE268h Comp cam, Performer RPM intake, 1.6 roller rockers, 650 to 700cfm carb of your choice, and a good set of headers. I myself love the Comp XE268h cam but it can't be used with stock valve spring Vortec heads, but if you get the springs fixed for more lift the I would run it if not the the Comp XE262H is a great street cam that doesnt give up much power to the XE268H. If you have some type of flat tops that yeild a comp. ratio of 9.25 to 10.0 then this should be around a 400 hp setup that has great street manners. Just my .02

Ya that isnt a bad kit/combo, but the cam that comes in that kit is kinda big for a street motor. It will need a 2500 stall behind it, but not a bad kit.

That kit i posted uses all edel brock stuff and is pretty much the same as the edelbrok power pack but 200 cheaper. Also do you think a 650 card would be right for that kit or should i go bigger? or smaller?
