need plastic inserts for my Z bar

So i welded some nice gussets on my Z bar and melted the plastic inserts for the ball stud. Anyone know where to get them? thanks in advance.

Lutty's has them listed at $2.35 a piece. ebay has complete rebuild kits,and they may still be available at GM all models used the same ones.

Are you talking about the rod bushings? I know it's pricey but you can get a kit with rod ends for about $65 from Speed Direct.

Nope, the plastic bushings inside the z-bar that the ballstuds pivot on. He melted the bushing sfrom welding on additional supports. They also just wear out because people dont realize that they are supposed to be greased.

:shock: I didn't even realize it had them, mine has always had a tight fit & I never looked very close at it.
