Hello friends, my buddy picked up a set of Weld Pro Stars for me at a Swap Meet (Spring Carlisle). They're brand new and in boxes from a tire and wheel dealer. I took them out of the bxes and I noticed that the "Weld Racing" insignia and etc. is no longer engraved on the rim. Are these the "NEW" Welds since American Racing took over or are they fake? Thanks.
How much do they weigh, and are they one piece or multiple? The knock offs aren't forged, they're one piece cast, and they weigh a ton.
They're very light just as my original Welds (15-20lbs) and they're definetely a 2 piece wheel with a weld down the center. All the Weld paperwork came in the Weld Boxes and the center caps also say Weld. I guess I should call Weld to be sure? Thanks.
