Finally got an air filter, its a little bigger that I wanted but it was an Ebay special....$75.00 for the kit. Had to change the upper radiator hose, but a stock 1999-2006 silverado upper hose fits like a glove.
one less thing...

i think I remember it being offset different so it was centered in shroud. Also it was a bit to tall and there was hood clearance issues.
